The mission of the association is to preserve the schools' history, honor
excellence in education and make a connection between the generations of
people who take pride in being associated with Normandie Christian
School (NCS).
Likewise, the association functions as three entities under one
organization with a reunion/alumni committee, the actual Hall of Honor screening staff and alumni student mentoring program
including among other life cycle student matters such as awarded
scholarships/financial college admissions assistance.

NCS $50 for 50 Fundraiser Campaign

This donation will help a lot to achieve our mission :
The NCS Alumni Association Inc, has kicked off a campaign to raise awareness of the 50th anniversary of the private Pre-K and K-6th school called Normandie Christian School. A one-time $50 donation can be given in effort to pay tribute to educating young students for over 50 years. This tax deductible donation equates to $1 for every year of the school’s existence as NCS continues to provide quality education for students in Los Angeles metropolitan area. This campaign will be from the first Sunday in March through the first Sunday in December 2024 as the NCS Board of Directors work to remodel and reimagine the infrastructure of Normandie Christian School.

With these parts working together the organization is committed to fulfilling its mission by: Collecting, through donation, artifacts, literature, photographs, memorabilia (including yearbooks for redistribution and sales) and related materials to NCS which focus on the history of the school, its students and those elected to the various memorial shrines such as the NCS Hall of Fame & NCS Hall of Honor.

Engaging in social media outreach through various platforms (Meta, Instagram, TikTok, X and any future platforms) to establish, gain support and recognition of NCS alumni and its stakeholders at large for the purposes of promoting awareness of the school, the NCS brand and the expansion of the reach of the school internationally by continuing to support the inclusion of international students from neighboring countries such as Africa, South America and additional continents where NCS has influence.

Assisting individual graduating classes with organizing and
coordinating their own individual class reunions, events and social outings including transportation (as needed or required) hotel arrangements, flight travel accommodations, class cookouts, all class reunions and church anniversary celebrations with NCS former students, on a bi-annual, annual or semi-annual basis.

Enlist and retain the help and support of former NCS students, teachers, administrators and former board members and other outside interested parties or individuals not directly associated with NCS to
contribute their time, energy and efforts and skillset from the
workplace that have a direct correlation to the goals and ideologies and mission established by the association. Supporting our NCS Alumni Association members with a yearly retreat (locations, TBD) to organize, summarize and plan ahead for future calendar events for the alumni.

Supporting our alumni through contributions to their small business companies and contracting with them for special events for the express purposes of recycling funds through an NCS "eco-system" of revenue in an effort to promote the lifecycle of the alumni and promoting the NCS brand.
Engaging in separate fundraising opportunities and collecting monies into the NCS Alumni Association bank accounts for the express purpose of funding memorial tributes (through floral sprays, etc) for former students, faculty and staff including former principals and any additional individuals that the NCS Alumni Association chooses to honor.
Obtain funding or monies through various sales channels and donations for the sale of re-printed yearbooks, shirts, hooded sweatshirts, jackets, etc to create an e-commerce store and/or physical on campus store (where we are able to employ NCS alumnae) and create jobs for the alumni director and/or staff for compensation with benefits and 401k contributions.
Promoting the interest and ideals of NCS to various organizations both in and outside of California and various churches by traveling (as a director or educator or officer of the organization) and soliciting continual financial support on behalf of the alumni association and/or NCS pre-school or elementary school with expenses being provided by or reimbursed by the NCS Alumni Association for travel, hotel, meals, transportation and ticketed event purchases to sporting events, etc. with significant corporate sponsors or donor organizations including small business organizations or individuals and congregations.

Obtaining grant monies and donations via church members, individuals not connected to NCS and corporations on behalf of the NCS Alumni
Association to contribute, sustain and rebuild the school enrollment and fund various teacher supplies for both pre-school and the K-6 model.

To create a committee to assist the NCS Board of Directors with
employment hiring consulting, gathering information such as salary
requirements for staff, teachers, principals, etc to assist in raising
and providing capital (including 401K with benefits) that are comparable
to other school districts and offering an annual raise and supplement
funding for the purposes of hiring and retaining our best staff.

Preserving the data (not for sale or distribution) of former students
and staff by adhering to exceptional standards of record keeping with
respect to conservation of alumnae records and student information and
maintaining a permanent record of holdings through documentation,
philanthropy, research and cataloging. Exhibiting material within a permanent or temporary gallery from the Hall of Fame collections or other sources, working with other individuals or organizations to exhibit loaned material of significance
to the history of NCS and providing related research information. Interpreting needs of the institution through fundraising, e-commerce sales of alumni merchandise and educational programs to enhance awareness, understanding and foster appreciation of the school for a universally diverse audience.

Honoring, by enshrinement, those individuals who have had exceptional careers, and recognizing others for their significant achievements to the growth and sustaining of our alma mater.
